Detoxification – When, Why, How Much?

Do you think we got away with “getting away” with the weight gain? The fact is, everything comes with a delay and our bodies need renewal, rebirth, … call it what you will. It’s not just about gaining extra pounds, but more generally about the effects of harmful foods ingested during the vacation and winter seasons.

The body has its own cleansing system and detox is a natural way that speeds up this process and protects you from disease!

Toxins can come from the normal processes that take place in our body through ingesting food or inhaling chemicals such as pesticides, detergents, food additives, cigarette smoke …

The floor needs to be cleaned regularly – including our bodies!
Any cleaning process (through housework) isn’t much fun, but when the job is done you feel useful, happy, and at ease! This is how you feel even after your body has been detoxified – reborn!

We’re not going to tell you in detail where all of these pollutants are coming from your body – because it’s pretty obvious. We’ll tell you the nice part, and that happens during and after the detox, how and how often.

How Often Should I Cleanse My Body?
This process should be done 1 to 3 times a year. Not more than 3 times. It is best to do this after the holidays and high calorie meals and when you are experiencing some of the problems listed below. It should take 3 to 7 days.

Why and when should I clean myself at all?
Today we live fast and all of your organs are overworked. We eat heavy and unhealthy foods that fit the modern lifestyle – and the body has to process them.

-If you lead such a lifestyle without interruption for your body, various difficulties may follow, such as:
-Declared fatigue and lack of energy
-poor digestion and gas
-Disorders of the menstrual cycle
-irritated skin, poor complexion and allergies
-Headache, memory and concentration problems
Breastfeeding women, children, patients with chronic degenerative diseases, cancer or tuberculosis should consult their doctor before detoxification.

Desirable and undesirable foods?
Detox plans can include special diets, herbs, hydrotherapy, exercise, breathing techniques, and / or sauna therapies.

While cleaning, avoid: fast foods, coffee, alcohol and cigarettes, salt, sweetened and carbonated juices, high fat foods, sweets and snacks, canned and ready meals, foods containing wheat and gluten.

The stars of your diet should be fruits and vegetables. Meals throughout the day should be light, you shouldn’t skip them and starve yourself longer during the day because you will overeat later – and we try to avoid such behavior! Prepare vegetables as briefly as possible so that valuable ingredients are retained.

Vegetable salads are great for speeding up metabolism, strengthening immunity, and cleansing the body of toxins. Season salads with high quality extra virgin olive oil.

It is good to drink as much fluids as possible – either in the form of water, tea or soups (about 2 liters per day). Warm vegetable soups and juices made from fresh fruits and vegetables are the right way to get energy.

Repetition is the mother of knowledge – so let’s tell you again that the ideal time to detox is other than January, spring or summer. In winter, heavier and fatty foods and fewer vegetables and fruits are eaten. Therefore, it is recommended to cleanse the body before summer and prepare it for seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Cleanse your body and you will feel a lot of energy!
